You will be able to avoid that by activating an Whois Privacy Protection service for your domain. With it, your personal or corporate details, including your name, email address and physical address, will be substituted with fictitious information. To Whois Privacy Protect your domain, simply pick the domain and after that click the Whois Privacy Protection button to request the activation of this feature.

We grant you complete control over your domains’ DNS settings. Through the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can update various DNS resource records for a selected domain. These include A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. To set a new record, simply pick a domain and then fill in the new value in the respective DNS record field. To update the DNS record – click ’Modify’; to return to the old value – click on ’Revert’.

With the help of the Wildcard DNS functionality, you’ll be able to make all your sub–domains direct to the home page of your site. For example, if somebody enters any.domain.com or smth.domain.com, they will visit http://domain.com/.

You might need the Wildcard DNS functionality for a multi–site application such as Joomla^™ Multi–Site or WordPress.

To add a wildcard domain, visit the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and then click on the Add Host button on the right. At the bottom of the list of options, you’ll notice the Wildcard Domain checkbox.

When registering a domain name, you have to furnish accurate WHOIS info and to keep it up to date at all times. If you desire to change your e–mail or postal address, or if you desire to transfer the domain name to someone else, you can do that via the Domain Manager interface.

Simply press the Edit WHOIS button beside the domain in question and then alter the respective registrant, admin and technical information. When you click on the Update button, the modifications will be instantly reflected online.

By locking your domain, you can safeguard it from unapproved transfers. This way, anybody who tries to initiate a transfer of your domain name to another registrar will be automatically blocked.

In case you need to transfer your domain to a different registrar yourself, you can unlock it with merely a click. The locking/unlocking feature is included in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel. Simply pick a domain name and after that click on the Registrar Lock button to lock or unlock it.

In case you need to park a domain, you will be able to quickly achieve this with our Domain Parking tool.
